Neil Steinberg a columnist at Chicago Sun-Times which happens to be the second most popular paper in Chicago besides the Chicago Tribune. Today he decided to make a Vaush-esque argument as to why child porn should be legal if guns are legal.
To be honest this article is lame, and pathetic. He just took the same gun argument people use and wrapped it in a clickbait title. Of course I’m sure he actually believes the title though, looking at his face, and considering his heritage, I have no doubt he’d support legalization of child porn.
Oh yeah, I wonder what his opinion is on cutting babies foreskin off at birth? That harms more children than guns.
A half century later, the Supreme Court decided we are a great enough nation that our freedoms extend even to resisting a war we are currently fighting, and Schenck was dialed back. Now to be illegal, speech usually must be libelous, or promote imminent lawless action — you are not free to deliver a speech urging your neighbors to kill someone.
Nor can you own child pornography, and it’s important to understand why. Child pornography is among the most restricted material in our society. You don’t have to produce it or sell it to commit a crime; it’s a crime simply to possess it.
Why does child pornography merit such a unique level of suppression? I’ll give you a hint: it’s called “child pornography.” Children cannot consent to sexual acts with adults and are severely damaged by being forced to do so. Child pornography hurts children, so we fight it with all the legal might our nation can bring to bear, even if it infringes on fundamental freedoms.
To summarize: an essential part of the Constitution gives Americans a right, but that right is limited when the free exercise of it harms children.

Like I said, this is a really stupid news article, and is not worth anybody’s actual time to read, he wrote it to piss people off.
Obviously though he is comparing gun ownership & gun legalization to being as harmful as child porn, which is false. The simple act of owning a gun has no impact on children at all, nor does the legalization of firearms.
Firearms don’t kill kids, people kill people and people kill kids. Women abort children, black men drag kids out of their homes and shoot them, and Jews such as yourself Mr. Steinberg cutoff their foreskin as babies. If you ban firearms do you think child murder is suddenly going to go away? Will suicides just stop? No, they won’t. Murder, suicide, death, it’s been around since nearly the beginning of the earth. You can ban any weapon you want, humans will find a way to sin.
Compare this to child pornography, which by design (unlike firearms) pornography itself is made to harm children whether or not it involves children it is deviant and evil. Pornography is designed to lure minors into watching it through keyword searches and algorithms. This isn’t a difficult concept to understand.
It’s been a slow news week and I wanted to throw this out there, that’s how crazy these people are about this issue right now that they’re willing to take the Vaush path.
